I was born and raised in Fremont, Michigan, where my roots in community service and leadership first began to take shape. Growing up in a small town taught me the value of helping others, and working hard to better a community that shaped and molded me into the individual that I am today.

In 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic created sudden challenges for families across the region, I looked for a way to support those who needed help most. What began as a small effort to deliver groceries to neighbors quickly grew into a service that reached multiple counties. I partnered with local organizations, churches, and businesses to ensure people had access to essential items during that uncertain time. What started as a response to a crisis became a long-term commitment, and I continued providing this service throughout my high school years and beyond. The experience strengthened my connection to the community and reinforced the importance of stepping up when others are in need.

After graduating from Fremont High School, I attended Western Michigan University to pursue a dual path in Aviation and Marketing. I earned my bachelor’s degree magna cum laude, along with my Commercial Pilot’s License. I continued to fly aircraft to many corners of Michigan, and also started my Marketing Business: Takeoff Marketing. I was elected to serve as a Republican precinct delegate for the City of Fremont, and was appointed to the Tax Allocation Board for Newaygo County.

For the past five years, I have worked in the agriculture industry, providing solutions to customers across the United States and collaborating with major companies around the world. In my role, I helped manage key areas of the company’s sales operations, built strong relationships with producers and industry partners, and consistently contributed to year-over-year growth. Through this work, I’ve gained a clear understanding of the challenges facing agriculture across our state, as well as the ways other states continue to innovate and prosper within the industry.

All these experiences have strengthened my understanding of what communities across Michigan need to thrive. From supporting local families during difficult times to working alongside growers and businesses throughout the state, I have seen how important it is for community voices and real world experience to guide decision making. Because my background spans multiple industries and generations, I bring a fresh perspective shaped by hands on service, local partnerships, and a commitment to helping our communities grow. It is a perspective I carry with me into any role I take on in Lansing.
